Introduction: I am starting my 29th year as a university-level organic chemistry faculty. I figure I'm good for another 25 years or so, assuming I can eventually get it right.
Degrees: BS in chemistry (University of Utah), PhD organic chemistry (University of Wisconsin), NIH post-doc (Colorado State University), Professor (Brigham Young University).

Titles: I'm happy to be the Advisor for the Temple University Chemical Society (TUCS); Professor of Instruction (Temple); Chair-elect (Philadelphia Section of ACS); Unofficial Coordinator of Organic Chemistry Instruction (Temple); co-author of Organic Chemistry textbook (used at ~35 schools); co-author of ACS Organic Exam; Teacher (over 6000 students to date); Author of Organic Reaction Animations and Bio-Organic Reaction Animations; Dad to William (1 yr old), Erin (24 yr old), Amy (28 yr old), and Nate (32 yr old).
Extracurricular: Husband (24/7), frisbee (whenever possible), volleyball (annually), history/genealogy.
Undergraduate: BS in 3 years, did undergraduate research (2 publications), took MCAT exam, worked summers in Targhee National Forest, started grad school at age of 20, earned C's in gen chem lab and Calc III, fell in love with using NMR to determine structure.
